About Me

I am a bilingual, multiplatform journalist based in New York, where I work as a line producer for Bloomberg Tech, a daily television program covering the biggest stories in technology and business. Over the course of my career, I have worked and lived in France, Greece, Canada, and the United States, creating stories across broadcast news, short documentaries, and premium digital video. I enjoy taking complicated subjects - from technology, business, and social issues - and turning them into stories that feel human and visually engaging.

Before joining Bloomberg, I was a booker and producer at CTV News, Canada's largest private news network, where I covered major breaking stories, including the repatriation of Afghan refugees following the U.S. troop withdrawal and the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.

Earlier, I was a reporter at CBC News, Canada's public broadcaster, where I covered Ontario's prolonged teacher strikes, the national debate over an assault weapons ban, and the country's first confirmed COVID-19 case, breaking the news live on air.

I began my journalism career in public radio in Virginia, where I covered the 2017 Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville. I also reported on Virginia's opioid epidemic, the state's teacher shortage, the 2018 congressional race in Virginia's 5th District, and the 2016 U.S. presidential election.

Alongside my broadcast work, I have edited short documentary films and long-form stories. As a video editor for Photographers Without Borders, I edited Itiumu Sapara: The Strength of the Forest, which won Best Cinematography at the 2024 Toronto Documentary Feature & Short Film Festival, and was selected at two other Canadian festivals.

Outside the newsroom, I have also worked as a legal writer for a leading immigration law firm in Washington, D.C., and as a press secretary and digital manager on Maryland's 2018 gubernatorial campaign.

My reporting has been shaped by an international academic background. I earned a Master's in Bilingual Journalism, completing internships at Courrier International and Agence France-Presse's Athens bureau. I also conducted graduate research at New York University for my Master's in International Studies, examining the historical role of the African-American newspaper The Chicago Tribune and the Greek-American National Herald within their respective communities. Earlier research explored how The Irish Times and The Times influenced public opinion surrounding the 1921 Anglo-Irish Treaty.

My undergraduate degree in Sociology first brought me to Greece for an academic year, and I later attended an intensive summer program at the London School of Journalism. I also received a grant from the Zellidja Association to conduct a month-long research project in Ireland, exploring the country's wartime memory through folk music. The resulting report was later exhibited at the French National Library.

I am bilingual in French and speak conversational Modern Greek and Italian. Outside journalism, I play the oboe and alto saxophone. A fun fact: I learned to fly a four-seat airplane at 16—before I even had my driver's license.
