About Me

I am a New York-based producer for Bloomberg Technology, a daily show covering the biggest news in tech and business. I was also a video editor for Photographers Without Borders, and the documentary I edited -- Itiumu Sapara: The Strength of the Forest -- was selected by the Toronto International Women Film Festival and voted "Best Cinematography" at the Toronto Documentary Feature & Short Film Festival 2024.

As a bilingual multiplatform producer and reporter, I have lived and reported in France, Greece, and Canada. I was a booker and producer for Canada's largest private news network, CTV News, chasing major breaking stories, from the repatriation of Afghan refugees after the retreat of U.S. troops to the January 6 riots on Capitol Hill. I was also a reporter for Canada's main public broadcaster CBC News, covering Ontario's lengthy teacher strikes, diving deep into the assault weapons ban debate, and breaking the news of the first known COVID-19 case in the country live on air.

Before all that, I was a local public radio reporter in Virginia, where I covered Charlottesville's 2017 "Unite the Right" rally -- in fact, I was just a few feet away from James Alex Fields Jr.'s car when he plowed through the crowd. I also covered the state's opioid epidemic and teacher shortage crisis, the 2018 U.S. Senate race for Virginia's 5th district, and the 2016 presidential election.

When not covering the news, I worked as a legal writer for a top immigration law firm in D.C., and as a campaign press secretary and digital manager in Maryland's 2018 gubernatorial race.

I was an intern at the news magazine Courrier International and the

Agence France-Presse bureau in Athens, Greece as part of my Master's in Bilingual Journalism, and I spent a semester at New York University for research during my Master's in International Studies. There, I completed my comparative study on the historical role the African-American newspaper The Chicago Tribune and the Greek-American National Herald played in their respective ethnic communities. This dissertation followed my previous comparative research on the role of The Irish Times and The Times in the outcome of the landmark 1921 Anglo-Irish Treaty.

My Bachelor's in Sociology brought me to Greece for an academic year, and I attended an intensive summer program at the London School of Journalism. I also won a $1000 travel grant from the Zellidja association for a one-month research project that took me around Ireland to study the country's memory of war as told through folk music. My report was later exhibited at the French National Library.

I am bilingual in French and conversational in modern Greek and Italian,

and I play the oboe and alto saxophone. Fun fact: I learned to fly a four-seater airplane at age 16 before getting my driver's license.
